about

This track was recorded at The Lobby Bar in 2005 in front of a live audience, just before the venue closed. This would be our last time to play The Lobby, a legendary venue in our native Cork, where the Fuchsia seeds were first sown. Here Máirtín tells the tale of how a boy named Setanta became known as the hero Cú Chulainn. This is one of the oldest stories in Irish lore and one of the first to be written down by studious Irish monks in and around 637 AD.
